Episode Thirteen. So ends the second series of the Crystal Maze. By this point in the shows run, Richard O Brien had become a household name, and the contestants had cemented their place in history, as classic examples of people that would make chimpanzees look like Albert Einstein... And the term - You Crystal Maze Contestant!!! Had passed into common use in the English language, to be used as an insulting term for someone who is not very bright....
